The Client:

A rapidly growing IT & Telecoms business with a passion for technology and a wish to appoint a flexible and versatile Marketeer, who will assist in the growth of in-bound sales channels whilst sharing success and creating opportunities for the Sales Team to convert.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be assuming responsibility for the full marketing mix, to include: digital marketing, content marketing, website re-fresh, lead generation and collateral updates.

The successful Candidate will enjoy a variety of tasks as necessitated by the changing needs of a growing business and individual development within the role.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Working within the Sales Team, supporting the team with lead generation/prospecting and thus driving qualified traffic to our door.
  • Responsible for the continued development of the companies’ web presence.
  • Developing and delivering the Digital Marketing strategy to include maintaining and updating the website and keeping in mind SEO best practice to ensure traffic is driven organically, as well as through email campaigns.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from idea to execution.
  • Curate a communication and content strategy, carrying throughout the brand aesthetic and the core values of Client.
  • Work with external partners on co-branded marketing.
  • Update the ongoing marketing budget and hold regular meetings with finance and seniors, as and when required.
  • Editing Sales and Marketing Collateral, creating relevant visuals and refreshing regular case studies with Clients.
  • Research and present primary and secondary market research findings to Directors, pitching ‘hot content’ topics of interest.
  • Bid for partner funding through organising local seminars, corporate hospitality and tactical yet measurable marketing activities.

The Candidate:

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience and a strong knowledge of the telecoms, IT and Technology sector, alongside the following skills:

  • Digital marketing, in particular SEO, managing and updating websites, email marketing (knowledge of email marketing would be advantageous) and social media experience.
  • Working knowledge of CRM Systems.
  • Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator to edit and create marketing collateral.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • A creative approach with a particular emphasis to detail.
  • Highly organised and confident.
  • Able to manage work loading whilst regularly updating the Sales Director.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Marketing degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing role.
